Welcome to eventsplanning.ai. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and eventsplanning.ai (“eventsplanning.ai,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of our website at eventsplanning.ai and our event-planning platform (together, the “Services”). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1.Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services in any way — including viewing an event as a guest — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2.Eligibility
To create an account and use the planning tools, you must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. The Services are intended for users in the United States. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3.Description of the Services
eventsplanning.ai provides an online platform that helps event planners and their clients plan and manage events — including timelines and schedules, checklists, budgets, vendor and guest management, invitations and guest emails, menus, day-of guest check-in, RSVP collection, event websites, gift registries, sign-up sheets, photo galleries and the Photo finder, and a small number of AI-assisted writing tools. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. The Services are tools to assist with planning; you remain responsible for your events, decisions, and arrangements.
4.Accounts & security
Some features require an account. Planner accounts may require an invitation code provided by eventsplanning.ai. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password confidential, and to be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Services or other users.
5.Planners, clients, vendors & guests
The Services connect planners and clients who collaborate on shared events, and allow invited guests to view event information and check in. Planners and clients are responsible for the accuracy of the event and guest information they enter, for what they choose to make visible to guests, and for their communications with guests.
Vendors may hold their own accounts, list a business profile in the Vendor Directory, and be attached to an event by a planner. A vendor sees only what the planner gives it access to, and is responsible for the accuracy of its listing and for what it sends through the Services. A listing in the directory is not an endorsement, a vetting, or a recommendation by us.
eventsplanning.ai is not a party to the arrangements between planners, clients, guests, or vendors, is not responsible for their conduct, and does not guarantee any vendor’s work, availability, licensing, or insurance.
6.Acceptable use
When using the Services, you agree that you will not:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others;
- Upload or send content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
- Send spam or unsolicited messages, or use guest emails for any purpose other than the legitimate event;
- Upload guest information you are not authorized to use, or send emails to people who have not agreed to hear from the organizer;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our systems;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services, including by introducing malware or overloading our infrastructure;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the Services except as permitted by law;
- Use the Services to impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
7.Your content & license
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Services, including event details, guest lists, images, and files (“Your Content”). You grant eventsplanning.ai a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Services to you and the people you choose to share it with (such as connected planners, clients, and invited guests).
You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to submit it and grant this license, and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.
8.Guest data responsibilities
When you upload or enter information about your guests (such as names and email addresses) or send emails to them through the Services, you represent and warrant that you have the right to do so and that your use complies with applicable laws, including anti-spam and privacy laws such as the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.
9.Our intellectual property
The Services — including the software, design, text, graphics, logos, and the “eventsplanning.ai” name and branding — are owned by eventsplanning.ai or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, we reserve all rights. You may not use our branding without our prior written permission.
10.Third-party services
The Services rely on third-party providers (for example, cloud hosting, email delivery, and content-delivery networks) and may link to or integrate with third-party websites or tools. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms and policies.
11.Fees
Any fees for planning services or premium features will be agreed separately between you and eventsplanning.ai. Unless stated otherwise in a separate agreement, access to the Services is provided on the terms described here. The Services are currently provided free of charge to planners, clients, vendors and guests. We may introduce fees for some features in future; if we do, we will say so before they apply to you, and you will not be charged for anything you have not agreed to. We do not collect payment card details through this platform, and we do not process payments between you and anyone else — see Gift registry & payments.
12.Gift registry & payments
The registry is a list and a noticeboard. It lets an organizer publish items and cash funds, and lets guests say what they intend to give. eventsplanning.ai never takes custody of money. We are not a bank, a money transmitter, an escrow agent, or a payment processor, and no payment is made through the Services.
An organizer publishes their own payment details — a Venmo, Zelle or PayPal handle — and a guest who wishes to contribute pays the organizer directly through that third-party service, on that service’s terms. A contribution recorded on the registry is a statement of intent, not a transaction we can see, verify, reverse, or guarantee.
Organizers are responsible for the payment details they publish, including for checking that they are correct and current; a payment sent to a handle published in error is a matter between the guest, the organizer, and the payment service. Any dispute about a gift, a contribution, or a refund is between the guest and the organizer. We are not responsible for the acts of any payment service, and your use of one is governed by its own terms.
13.AI features
Some features generate text with a third-party AI model, as described in our Privacy Policy: the guest assistant, menu descriptions, and summarizing a conversation you paste in. AI output is produced automatically, can be inaccurate or incomplete, and is not advice. You remain responsible for reviewing anything it produces before relying on it, saving it to an event, or sending it to a guest.
Our AI provider is Google, on the unpaid tier of its Gemini API. As our Privacy Policy explains, Google uses content submitted on that tier to improve its products and models, and human reviewers may read it. When you paste a conversation to be summarized, you represent that you have the right to share that text with us and with Google on those terms, and that you have removed anything confidential, sensitive, or belonging to someone who would not agree to it. Do not paste anything you are not free to disclose. We may limit, suspend, or remove AI features at any time, including if a provider changes or withdraws its service.
14.Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data will not be lost. You use the Services at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important information.
15.Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVENTSPLANNING.AI AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EVENT-RELATED LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
16.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless eventsplanning.ai and its owners, employees, and providers from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to Your Content, your use of the Services, your communications with guests, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
17.Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses you have granted, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing-law provisions — will survive.
18.Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Forsyth County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If any informal resolution is possible, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter.
19.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes may be communicated through the Services. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
20.General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and eventsplanning.ai regarding the Services and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
